Biography
Jan Neumann is an associate in the Corporate / M&A Practice Group of Baker McKenzie's Munich office. Jan studied Business Law (LL.B.) and Legal Management (LL.M.) at the University of Applied Sciences Konstanz (Germany) and the University of Finance and Administration Prague (Czech Republic). During his studies, Jan gained experience in international law firms and start-ups in the areas of corporate law, M&A and legal tech.
Practice Focus
Jan advises international and domestic clients on a wide range of corporate law and corporate reorganization matters (e.g. carve-outs). His practice focuses on ongoing corporate law advice (corporate maintenance), corporate reorganizations and M&A transactions. Furthermore, Jan advises globally-acting clients on issues relating to the Money Laundering Act, in particular regarding the identification, documentation and filing of their beneficial owners.
