Amendment to Article 54 of the Labor Standards Act encouraging older employees to continue devoting themselves to work

In view of the labor shortage crisis, the Legislative Yuan passed the draft amendment to Article 54 of the Labor Standards Act (LSA) on 15 July, aiming to prevent the mandatory retirement age from deterring older workforce from continuing to work.
