Baker McKenzie advises Atos on its entry into exclusive negotiations with Alten for the sale of Worldgrid

Atos and Alten have entered into exclusive negotiations for the sale by Atos of its Worldgrid business, for a binding enterprise value of EUR 270 million. Worldgrid is a provider of consulting and engineering services to energy and utility companies, with revenue for 2023 of around EUR 170 million and close to 1,100 employees. The transaction is expected to close before the end of 2024. The deal was handled in-house by Anne-Sophie Poirier, head of Legal M&A at Atos.
