Masabumi Tamagawa
Biography
Masabumi Tamagawa is a member of Baker McKenzie's Finance & Projects Group. His work covers a wide range of banking and finance-related matters and is particularly focused on structured finance, including project finance and acquisition finance. He was seconded to Baker McKenzie's Chicago office between September 2017 and July 2018. Masabumi is a member of the Tokyo Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
Practice Focus
Masabumi focuses his practice on banking and finance law and general corporate law. He has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating contracts and providing legal advice regarding project finance, PFI/PPP, lease finance, acquisition finance, securitization and liquidation.

- Advised clients on real estate securitization and liquidation matters.
- Advised clients in securities trading-related class action lawsuits seeking damages and in disputes concerning financial products.
