Juan Diego Pérez
Biography
Juan Diego Pérez is a junior associate in the Intellectual Property group of Baker McKenzie's Colombia office. Before joining Baker McKenzie, he worked at an important criminal law firm for four years, where he participated in cases of national significance worked on and advised national and international individuals and legal entities. Prior to that, he was a paralegal for more than four years.
Juan received his law degree, profundisation studies on criminal law, from the Universidad del Rosario and his postgraduate degree in criminal procedure from the Universidad Externado de Colombia.
Practice Focus
Juan focuses his practice on criminal law and corporate criminal law. He has assisted in representing companies from different sectors, such as telecommunications and financial services. He has also represented natural persons in national cases.
