Biography
Edouard Papeil practices in the Dispute Resolution Group of Baker McKenzie in Paris.
Before joining the Firm, Edouard completed several internships in Paris and abroad (Saint-Louis, Lisbon) with leading French and international law firms.
Practice Focus
Edouard focuses his practice on cross-border disputes involving French and foreign companies. In particular, he handles disputes involving issues of private international law, civil law, commercial law and business criminal law.
He also assists companies with insolvency proceedings and post-acquisition disputes.
Edouard joined the Dispute Resolution Group of Baker McKenzie in 2024.

- Advised a French Luxury Company on the termination of its commercial relationship with one of its foreign suppliers.
- Advised global provider of nuclear services in the context of civil and criminal proceedings brought by its service provider in connection with a credit transfer fraud.
- Advised French automotive company in an action for damages caused by the use of defective parts from its supplier.
- Advised a foreign payment services company to recover funds seized in a criminal investigation against one of its partners in France.
- Advised a French company specialized in the construction of data centers in the context of an action for termination of a contract.
