Biography

Salli McElligott is Counsel in the London Tax Disputes team, with over 15 years experience advising corporations on direct tax matters.

Practice Focus

Her practice includes assisting clients in navigating complex high-value UK corporate tax disputes and supporting them with tax dispute readiness and prevention. She acts for large multinationals across an array of industries including pharmaceutical, financial services, retail, entertainment and technology, regularly supporting them with negotiating resolutions to tax disputes in relation to debt financing, asset valuation and accounting treatment as well as transfer pricing and Diverted Profits Tax matters.

Prior to joining Baker McKenzie in 2017, Salli worked in international tax services at a Big 4 accounting firm supporting clients on the US federal income tax aspects of cross-border tax planning and US inbound investment.
