Biography

Charlotte Jones joined Baker McKenzie in June 2019 as a Senior Associate and has significant experience in a wide range of UK and international corporate tax matters, with a particular focus on M&A work and international reorganisations. Charlotte has been a Knowledge Lawyer for the London Tax Practice Group since September 2022.

Practice Focus

Charlotte helps the London Tax Practice Group leverage its most important asset, its collective knowledge, to ensure that Baker McKenzie provides the highest quality advice to its clients. Charlotte’s role includes keeping the team informed about relevant UK and international tax developments, assisting fee-earners with authoring client alerts and other publications, supporting with technical tax queries, developing and implementing the training programme for the London Tax Practice Group, drafting and updating tax precedent documents and collecting, storing and maintaining precedents and samples in document repositories.

Charlotte is also a keen supporter of the UK’s pro bono practice and acts on British citizenship applications undertaken with Coram Children’s Legal Centre.
