Cara Heaslip
Biography
Cara is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Technology team, based in London. Her practice encompasses aspects of commercial, technology and intellectual property law. She has a particular focus on advising product counsel, regulatory and data protection issues.
Cara joined Baker McKenzie as a trainee in September 2016 and was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2018. During her training Cara completed a full-time six-month secondment at a global technology company.
Practice Focus
Cara's practice focuses on advising on product counsel, regulatory, data protection and consumer law issues. She regularly acts for clients in the new media sector, including platforms, on intermediary liability, intellectual property law and regulatory issues.
She is regularly involved in drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements for clients in the technology, consumer goods and life sciences sector.
