Natalie Haydon
Biography
Natalie is an Associate in the Firm's Dispute Resolution team based in London. Natalie has a wide practice, spanning across commercial litigation, international arbitration, and general advisory work. Natalie was also seconded to the global litigation team of a major energy company in 2021.
Representative Legal Matters
- Acting for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in its intervention in the ongoing litigation concerning the UK's Migration and Economic Development Partnership with Rwanda.
- Advising a broadcaster on Ofcom Broadcasting Code sanctions and related judicial review proceedings.
- Defending litigation pursued by Crypton Digital Assets Limited against our client, Blockchain Group Holdings, to recover damages said to result from the collapse of a proposed acquisition. The matter included claims to breach of contract, inducement to breach employment contracts and appropriation of assets including intellectual property.
- Acting for a global energy company in LCIA proceedings commenced by an African bank in relation to alleged breaches of an offtake agreement.
- Advising a forestry company on the enforcement (in multiple jurisdictions) of an ICSID arbitration award against an African state relating to the seizure and occupation of farmland.
Corporate Responsibility
Natalie has worked on several pro bono matters with the firm's current pro bono clients including Amicus, Global Rights for Women, Consortium for Street Children and the UNHCR.
