Biography
Gonzague Basso practices in the Banking & Finance Group of Baker McKenzie, Paris. He joined the Firm in 2006 and was appointed partner in 2015.
Practice Focus
Mr. Basso focuses on acquisition finance, particularly on funds of funds secondary market, and on loans and credit facilities. He advises private equity investment funds, international groups and financial institutions on local and cross-borders acquisition finance transactions, secured and unsecured syndicated loan facilities, loans and credit facilities, restructuring and real estate and project financing. He advises originators and financial institutions on structured finance transactions, local and offshore securitization and factoring programs. He also advises financial institutions and financial services subsidiaries of international groups on banking regulatory matters.
