Global law firm Baker McKenzie has advised Vandemoortele, a leading European family-owned food group, on its acquisition of Lizzi srl., a specialty producer of frozen bakery products, from Forno d’Asolo SpA.
The acquisition is particularly significant as it follows Vandemoortele’s acquisition of Dolciaria Acquaviva in June 2024, further solidifying the Group’s position as an important actor in the Italian frozen bakery market.
Koen Vanhaerents (Brussels), Geert Bovy (Brussels) and Anna Marina De Vivo (Milan) led the Baker McKenzie team who provided comprehensive assistance throughout the deal.
