Baker McKenzie has successfully assisted Orora on completing the acquisition of Saverglass and associated financing. Saverglass is a leading global manufacturer of premium and ultra-premium glass bottles, servicing luxury spirits and wine producers globally with customers in more than 100 countries.
Baker McKenzie's lead partner, Peter Ickeringill stated: "Saverglass is a market leader and a logical and compelling extension of Orora’s strategy as a global, sustainable value-added packaging solutions player. The Acquisition will extend Orora's operating footprint and product capabilities in attractive offshore markets and further enhance its financial performance and growth prospects."
The deal was announced back in early September and has now completed.
