John is an associate in our Firm’s North America Litigation & Government Enforcement Practice Group and is based in our Los Angeles office.

Practice Focus

John represents clients in complex commercial litigation in federal and state court, as well as in domestic and international arbitration concerning contracts, financial services disputes, construction projects, and insurance, among others.

Representative Legal Matters

  • Served as the lead associate on a case in S.D.N.Y. alleging breach of contract claims on behalf of a renewable energy development company regarding the construction of a wind farm in upstate New York.
  • Associate on the trial team that won on all issues in an arbitration covering employment and regulatory issues for a cryptocurrency exchange.
  • Defended a financial services company in a dispute in New York state court regarding a structured finance transaction.
  • Associate on a trial team for a global financial company in S.D.N.Y. regarding a large mistaken payment.
  • Assisted a global financial company in New York state court defending against a preliminary injunction arising out of the February 2021 winter storm in Texas.
  • Represented low-income immigrant tenants in a pro bono case in San Francisco, alleging housing and discrimination claims against their landlord.
