Magnus Stålmarker
Biography
Magnus Stålmarker is a member of the Dispute Resolution Practice Group in Stockholm. He graduated from the University of Gothenburg in 2002. Magnus also studied law at the University of Mannheim in Germany from 1999 to 2000, within the framework of the Erasmus program. He clerked at the District Court of Gothenburg and served in the Svea Court of Appeal from 2002 to 2007. He joined Baker McKenzie in March 2007.
Practice Focus
Magnus focuses primarily on international and domestic arbitration and litigation for Swedish and foreign companies with a particular emphasis on disputes within the fields of construction, company law, and contractual disputes. He has acted as counsel and co-counsel in cases at several courts in Sweden, including all major district courts and a number of other district courts and courts of appeal as well as the Supreme Court. Magnus has also acted as counsel and co-counsel in domestic and international arbitrations under the SCC Rules, the ICC Rules and ad hoc proceedings. In addition to dispute resolution, he is experienced in public procurement.
