Biography

Eric serves as Head of Private Equity in California and is a Partner in our Firm's North American Transactional Group and our Global Private Equity Practice Group. Based in our San Francisco office, he leverages decades of transactional experience and business judgment to help clients across industries buy, build, and sell companies. His practice spans a range of industries, including technology and its many subsectors, telecom, media and entertainment, financial services, healthcare, consumer, retail, energy, manufacturing, and industrials.

Practice Focus

Eric's practice focuses on guiding private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, and public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, recapitalizations, take-privates, carve-outs, restructurings, and joint ventures.

  • Silver Lake and its portfolio company Vacasa in the acquisition of TurnKey Vacation Rentals and Vacasa’s deSPAC business combination with TPG Pace Solutions
  • Ares in its acquisitions of Crescent Point Capital and in interests in the Senior Secured Loan Fund and the Allied Capital Senior Debt Fund
