Biography
Antonio is Partner, Transfer Pricing, Chair of the Transfer Pricing Practice with Baker McKenzie and co-heads the Amsterdam Tax and Transfer Pricing Team, which has been awarded the International Tax Review Award for The Netherlands Transfer Pricing Firm of the year in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2024.
He is been ranked among the best experts in transfer pricing for several consecutive years on the Euromoney Expert Guides, Legal 500 and Chambers. According to the latest Legal 500 survey, Antonio Russo is ‘by far one of the most qualified transfer pricing experts’.
Antonio has more than 25 years of experience and has served as Chair of the Global Tax Practice (2019-2023) as well as Chair of the EMEA tax Practice (2016-2019) with Baker McKenzie.

Antonio Russo is an established practitioner of transfer pricing and international tax law. Antonio lectures at numerous seminars and conferences around the world, as well as contributes articles to
several international tax reviews. He specializes in Transfer Pricing design, implementation and valuation of companies and intangible assets. He has extensive experience in tax planning/restructuring engagements, and has assisted clients in numerous industries.
Antonio provides assistance to clients in negotiating Advance Pricing Agreements and MAPs as well as in tax audit defense and dispute resolution across multiple jurisdictions.
