Biography

Nancy Rosenfeld is Of Counsel in the firm's Litigation and Government Enforcement practice group, advising domestic and international clients in a broad range of industries on managing anti-corruption compliance risks stemming from operating businesses in global markets. Nancy conducts risk assessments to identify the strengths and weaknesses of existing compliance programs and manages internal investigations relating to potential compliance violations. She advises company management and corporate boards and board committees with respect to such reviews and investigations and counsels regarding resolution and remediation strategies. She also represents clients in a broad range of compliance matters, including criminal investigations, before the US Department of Justice, the US Securities and Exchange Commission, and other government agencies.

Nancy advises on appropriate due diligence procedures for evaluating anti-corruption compliance by agents, consultants, representatives and joint venture partners. She also assists clients in creating and implementing corporate compliance programs to reduce the risk of violations, including training members of company management and other employees. Her practice includes evaluating potential transactions with respect to anti-corruption compliance, assisting with structuring transactions and advising on effective contract provisions to manage compliance issues.
