Kanzy Radwan

Kanzy's practice focuses on corporate, commercial, M&As, private equity and funds.

Kanzy has experience in negotiating, drafting and reviewing all types of commercial agreements, drafting transactional documents including Shareholders’ Agreements, Share Purchase Agreements, Escrow Agreements, Asset Transfer Agreements, and preparing legal opinions and memoranda on specific legal questions, legal questionnaires or advisory matters.

She regularly liaises with offshore agents, assists with the incorporation of offshore entities and advises various clients on the possible offshore vehicles for their preferred structure (Netherlands, Mauritius, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, etc), with experience in assigning tasks to, managing and mentoring junior associates on different aspects corporate and commercial matters.

Before joining the Firm, Kanzy worked on the following transactions:

• Advised Reliance Ventures on the lease agreement entered into between the Sovereign Fund of Egypt as lessor and A Developments for the Lazoghly Project.

• Advised Sanlam Life Insurance Limited through Webber Wentzel on its merger with Allianz to create a R33-billion entity: the largest Pan-African non-banking financial services entity on the continent.

• Advised Insight Partners on their minority investment in Instabug, Inc.

• Advised Affirma Capital and StonePine ACE Partners on their full acquisition through Al Bardi Paper Mill Co. S.A.E of Easy Care Cosmetic S.A.E and New Easy for Cosmetics S.A.E.

• Advised Penguin Random House on their transfer of assets/shares transaction with Dar Al Tanweer Group/
