Biography

Radoslaw Nożykowski is a Counsel and Co-Head of the IP Tech and Defense practices at the Baker McKenzie Warsaw office. He has over 15 years of professional experience working for high-tech industry clients. He holds TMT sector (including privacy compliance) recommendations from both Chambers Europe and the Legal 500.

Practice Focus

Radosław is experienced in compliance, tech regulatory, information technology and cybersecurity. He has participated in transactions for leading technology companies and has advised defense clients on regulatory and compliance matters. In addition, he has coordinated internal investigations concerning business conduct breaches and assisted in white-collar crime investigations as well as advised on matters involving data breaches and cybersecurity crimes.

  • Represented a multinational corporation before the Polish DPA in connection with alleged client non-compliance in the context of a data breach case.
  • Advised major tech companies on the use of cryptography and the transfer of encrypted data.
  • Advised a leading American healthcare company on sensitive data processing in a medical context for a high-tech medical solution. The firm's role was to provide practical guidance in a multinational set up for the collection and processing of highly sensitive information in the light of the particularities and demands of Polish data protection law.
  • Advised a Polish producer of dual-use equipment on the transfer of military grade ship engines outside the EU.
