Biography

Charles Niemeth practices mainly in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, domestic and international securities, as well as general corporate law. In addition to his practice, Mr. Niemeth annually lectures at the Practicing Law Institute's "Acquiring or Selling Privately Held Company" program, and is an active member of the Board of the New York Philharmonic. He is a former managing partner in the Firm's New York office, and member of the New York State Bar, New York County Lawyers Association, and the California State Bar.

Practice Focus

Mr. Niemeth routinely advises US and foreign clients on mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings of securities, as well as other corporate and financing matters. He has worked on some the largest M&A transactions, including one that earned a "Deal of the Year" award from Institutional Investor. Mr. Niemeth is also fluent in the areas of project finance, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, as well as offerings of tax-advantaged partnership securities.
