Biography

Laura Nguyên-Lapierre is a tax lawyer in the Tax Group of Baker McKenzie in Paris since 2010.

Practice Focus

Laura Nguyên-Lapierre specialises in transfer pricing and international taxation. She has 15 years' experience advising clients in this area. Laura focuses on the prevention and resolution of transfer pricing disputes across a range of industry sectors, including digital economy, consumer goods, tourism and asset management.

Laura also assists clients in the design and implementation of transfer pricing policies and documentation.

  • International tax/ transfer pricing dispute resolution and prevention (mutual agreement procedures, arbitration and advance pricing agreement procedures).
  • Assistance in transfer pricing audits.
  • Risk assessment in relation to transfer pricing and/ or permanent establishment.
  • Design of transfer pricing policies tailored to clients’ strategic objectives and business models and implementation (contractual documentation, transfer pricing documentation related tax aspects). 
  • International tax matters including tax treaty analyses, conversion of sales structures, implementation of data centers, SaaS analyses, tax consequences of global mobility, etc.
