Biography
Hala Mohamed is a junior associate at Helmy, Hamza & Partners, Baker McKenzie Cairo. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions as well as general corporate matters. She has previously advised both buyers and sellers on local and cross-border M&A transactions. Hala has also advised clients on family law matters in a UK Law Clinic during her time there where she received her bachelor's in law degree in 2022 from the University of Liverpool.
Representative Legal Matters
- Advised ME Solaris Commodities on the acquisition of a majority stake in a regional commodities and stevedoring company. The transaction was complex as it included both local and cross-border elements as the transaction also included the establishment of an offshore holding company.
- Acted for Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Appliances Corporation (SPIMACO) in its acquisition of a significant 68.0% stake in Swiss Pharmaceutical firm Osmopharm. This deals involves a strategic share swap and cash consideration for the divestment of majority stake in SPIMACO Misr for Pharmaceutical Industries.
