Biography

Sarah Melville is a senior associate in the Sydney office of Baker McKenzie. Sarah specialises in dispute resolution and risk management in the areas of construction, energy and major projects, including in oil and gas and renewable energy, infrastructure and commercial and residential buildings.

Sarah was named as a Rising Star 2023 by Australian Lawyer.

Practice Focus

Sarah has over nine years' experience, including five years in-house at Chevron. She has worked internationally, across several jurisdictions, and has extensive experience in project delivery and across the full range of dispute resolution processes, including litigation, expert determination and domestic and international arbitration.

  • Advising an American energy corporation on two arbitrations relating to delays on two large solar farm projects in regional Australia.
