Biography

Dominique is a senior associate in Baker McKenzie’s Corporate group based in Los Angeles. She focuses on private mergers and acquisitions, and private equity, and has a particular focus on the Technology, Media & Telecommunications sector. Dominique joined Baker McKenzie as an associate in February 2017 in the London office.

Representative Legal Matters

  • Advised the majority shareholders of MagicLab, which owns and operates market-leading dating and social networking apps Badoo, Bumble, Chappy, and Lumen, on the majority stake sale to funds managed by Blackstone, valuing the company at approximately USD 3 billion.

  • Advised Nuance Communications, Inc., on the USD 400 million sale of its Document Imaging business to Kofax, Inc.

  • Advised Trimble Inc., on its USD 1.2 billion acquisition of Portland based software construction company, Viewpoint, Inc.

  • Advised Universal Music Group on various transactions, including the acquisition of a number of music labels, its investment in a UK-based jazz festival and the disposal of Parlophone Music Group to Warner Music Group.

  • Advised Trimble Inc. on its acquisition of UK based Network Mapping Group Limited.

  • Advised Kao Corporation on its acquisition of Washing Systems, LLC from California based private equity firm Gryphon Investors.

  • Advised Bain Capital on its portfolio acquisition of a UK cleaning and hygiene chemicals manufacturer and supplier.

  • Advised Australian-listed Telstra Corporation Limited on its acquisition of UK-based data analytics specialist, Dr Foster Intelligence Limited.

  • Advised a Hong Kong-listed technology company on its GBP 150 million acquisition of a UK video games developer.

  • Advised a Chinese consortium on its majority investment in a UK financial services technology company.
