Duffy Lorenz
Biography
Duffy Lorenz is the chair of the Chicago Transactional Practice Group. She advises clients on complex cross-border transactions and international business matters. Her clients include US multinationals and private equity funds across a range of industries.
Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, Duffy worked in the Hong Kong office of a major international law firm.

Advised Thoma Bravo and its portfolio companies as international counsel on a series of carve-outs, investments and cross-border transactions, including its acquisition of Veracode from Broadcom, its acquisition of Lexmark's enterprise software business and subsequent sale of the Perceptive business, Kofax's acquisition of Nuance Communication's imaging business, Digicert's acquisition of Symantec's website security and PKI business and Aucerna's acquisition of TietoEvry's oil and gas software business.
