Nicolas Jeangeorges
Biography
Nicolas Jeangeorges is a Counsel in the Tax group of Baker McKenzie’s Luxembourg office. Nicolas joined the Firm in 2015 and has more than eight years of experience in his area of expertise including one year in the Economists group of Baker McKenzie’s Chicago office.
Practice Focus
Nicolas' practice focuses on valuations, economic modelling and transfer pricing risk assessment and management, design and implementation of transfer pricing policies, tax audits, tax litigation, mutual agreement procedures, and advance pricing arrangements, on a local and global basis.
Representative Legal Matters
- Prepares transfer pricing studies for intra-group financing activities, royalties, remuneration for hybrid instruments and interest rate on intra-group loans.
- Carries out benchmarking analyses covering all types of inter-company transactions of goods and services in a wide range of countries.
- Performs tax valuation calculations in order to determine the fair market value of businesses or goodwill in compliance with the International Valuation Standards.
- Designs transfer pricing policies and fees allocations for Luxembourg investment fund structures.
- Manages transfer pricing and tax risks and opportunities in relation to any type of business restructuring.
- Identifies and implements comprehensive tax strategies for international, corporate, individual and indirect taxes.
