Jaap Huenges Wajer is a senior associate in the Indirect Tax Team at Baker McKenzie’s Amsterdam office. With a focus on advising both national and international companies, Jaap is experienced in all matters related to customs, value-added tax (VAT), and excise duties.
In his advisory role, Jaap emphasizes structuring international sales and supply chains, optimizing inbound and outbound transactions, and handling litigation concerning customs, VAT, and excise duties. His experience spans across various sectors, including but not limited to mining, technology, manufacturing, energy, pharmaceuticals, and consumer goods.
