Biography
Sophie Gidlund is a member of Baker McKenzie’s Capital Markets Practice Group in Stockholm. Sophie joined the Firm as an associate in 2021.
Practice Focus
Sophie frequently advises both domestic and international clients on a range of equity capital markets and public M&A transactions. Her transactional expertise includes representing issuers and investment banks in IPOs, changing of listing venues, and various public capital raisings such as preferential rights issues and directed issues. Additionally, Sophie’s practice is concentrated on general corporate maintenance, primarily for listed companies.
Representative Legal Matters
- Acted for Embracer Group and Asmodee Group in the Lex Asea Spin-off of all shares in Asmodee to the shareholders in Embracer with the subsequent listing on Nasdaq Stockholm.
- Acted for Enad Global 7 in its listing transfer to Nasdaq Stockholm.
- Acted for Carnegie, Swedbank and Van Lanschot Kempen in Catena’s primary issuance of shares of approximately SEK 2.1 billion.
- Acted for ABG Sundal Collier and Swedbank in Logistea’s primary issuance of shares of approximately SEK 250 million.
- Acted for Xbrane with its listing change to Nasdaq Stockholm and several capital raises.
- Acted for Embracer in its listing change to Nasdaq Stockholm.
- Acted for Truecaller in its Rule 144A IPO on Nasdaq Stockholm.
- Acted for CoinShares in its listing on Nasdaq First North.
- Acted for Permascand in its listing on Nasdaq First North Premier.
