Practice Focus
Yassine’s main area of practice is customs and indirect tax law. Yassine advises clients from a wide variety of industries, including e-commerce, high tech, fashion, automotive, pharmaceutical, and food & consumer products.
Yassine has registered the following principal legal practice area in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister): Tax Law.
Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
Representative Legal Matters
- Provide advise and training on the legal side of customs, international trade compliance and supply chain optimization

Develop and review internal compliance positions of multinationals.

Represent/assist clients before national authorities and courts as well as before the European Commission and the Court of Justice of the European Union.

Respond to customs, excise and other trade compliance related queries occurring during Day-to-Day operations of companies from various industries.
