Biography

Jean de Limburg Stirum is a junior associate in the Corporate Practice Group in the Brussels office. He joined Baker McKenzie in 2023.

Jean obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees from KU Leuven. He then pursued an LL.M. at the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC. He was awarded a fellowship from the B.A.E.F. and from the Fondation Fernand Lazard Stichting. During his time at Georgetown, he interned with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in the emerging markets and infrastructure development department. Jean fluently speaks French, Dutch, English and Spanish.

Practice Focus

Jean advises clients on all aspects of capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity.
