Stephan Cerni
Biography
Stephan Cerni is a special counsel in Baker McKenzie’s Banking & Finance Group with over 12 years of experience in the banking and finance industry. Stephan’s focus is on lending (corporate, fund and consumer), debt capital markets, securitisation and financial services. Stephan brings his experience gained in Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia in both private practice and in-house as legal counsel for Credit Suisse AG and UBS AG to deliver comprehensive, practical and commercial legal advice and support for his clients.
Stephan also has advised financial services companies on implementation of mergers and acquisitions in Australia and has extensive experience on Australian financial services regulation, licensing and regulatory engagement and remediation programs.
