Ali Bouhrara
Biography
Ali Bouhrara is a counsel in Baker McKenzie’s Investment Funds & Asset Management practice in Luxembourg. He has over 12 years of experience. Prior to joining the Firm in 2014, he worked in the investment fund practice of a leading London-based law firm where he advised on all aspects of UK and International investment funds, including advising investors with fund reviews and secondary purchases.
Practice Focus
Ali is well experienced in investment fund formation, particularly in private equity funds, real estate funds, debt funds (including mezzanine and distressed), emerging market funds and infrastructure funds. He also regularly provide advice in challenging circumstances such as removal of general partners, sponsor insolvency, limited partner defaults or early termination events.
Ali is the representative of Baker McKenzie Luxembourg within Baker McKenzie EMEA Chinese Desk and is an active member of the China-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (CHINALUX).
