Biography

Matthew Blaney is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Global Dispute Resolution Group in Chicago. He advises clients on a variety of litigation matters. Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, Matthew was a Student Attorney at the First Amendment Clinic at Washington University in St. Louis. During his time at the First Amendment Clinic, Matthew worked on a team advising a client in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.

Matthew is also a published author. His articles have been published in the Texas A&M Journal of Property Law and the North Carolina Central Law Review.

Practice Focus

Matthew's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and arbitration, as well as investigations and white-collar crime matters. His experience includes drafting pre-trial briefs and various discovery documents.
