Lenka Bešťáková
Biography
Lenka Bešťáková advises on issues relating to public law regulation and ethical standards, including pharmaceutical and healthcare law. In particular, she focuses on issues relating to privacy and data protection. Among others, she gained experience at a German law office in Munich and at the Office for Personal Data Protection in the Czech Republic, where she coordinated supervisory activities, including supervision of cross-border data processing and the related one-stop shop mechanism.
Practice Focus
Lenka provides legal counsel on matters relating to personal data processing and compliance with related duties, including lawfulness and transparency of the processing, exercise of data subject rights and personal data security.
Lenka also deals with various commercial and contractual law matters. She advises on numerous aspects of international commercial law including, inter alia, international trade, distribution and agency agreements and advertising. Lenka also conducts audits and due diligence investigations involving both Czech and Slovak companies. She also has experience in general civil and administrative law pertaining to her area of practice
