Biography

Abdullah has 15 years of litigation and commercial experience. He represents clients at the Sharia Courts, the Board of Grievance, the SAMA Committee, Labor Committee, Committee for Negotiable Instruments and all other courts and tribunals.

Representative Legal Matters

  • Representing clients before the Sharia Courts, the Board of Grievance, the commercial courts, the SAMA Committee, Labor Committee and Committee for Negotiable Instruments and all other courts and tribunals.

  • Advising on the establishment of Saudi Joint Stock, Limited Liability and Joint Venture Companies.

  • Advising clients and helping them to review the contract, and preparing the necessary documents to register these contracts if the client is a foreign company, and helping them to obtain a temporary commercial registration.

  • Assisting in the preparation of Agency, Distributor or franchise agreement and registering these agreements with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

  • Advising the clients in preparing employment contracts.

  • Assisting clients to prepare all necessary documents to register the trade mark with Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

  • Assisting clients to prepare all necessary documents and obtaining approvals from Government Authorities.

  • Acted for a worldwide company in a SAR 2 billion dispute against its local distributor in relation to claims arising from customs duties.

  • Advised several leading contractors on disputes relating to calls on bonds issued in connection with construction projects.

  • Representing members of the Saudi Royal Family in a multimillion dollar real property dispute.

  • Representing an international ports operator in relation to various disputes.

  • Representing a multinational medical, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods manufacturer in relation to claims arising out the termination of its commercial agency agreement with its Saudi Arabian partner.

  • Representing an international contractor in a dispute related to the construction of an international airport landing strip.
