Baker McKenzie advised the owner of The Woodward hotel in Geneva, The Bastion Collection, on the transition of hotel management from Oetker Collection to Auberge Resorts Collection and the respective negotiation of a new hotel management agreement. The new hotel manager assumed the management of the hotel on 1 February 2025.

The five-star hotel has a 1901 Belle Époque façade and is a three-Michelin key, all-suite property, equipped with contemporary interiors. Furthermore, it features The Guerlain Spa and 26 unique suites, almost all with views of Lake Geneva and the Alps. The Woodward also includes Geneva's only two-Michelin star restaurant, L'Atelier Robuchon.

Baker McKenzie advised The Bastion Collection on all legal aspects of this hotel management transition.
