As part of the International Women's Day 2025 celebrations, Baker McKenzie Thailand hosted a panel discussion titled "Empowering the Leaders of Tomorrow', aligning with the UN Women's theme “For ALL women and girls: Rights, Equality, and Empowerment,” which emphasizes the importance of empowering and mentoring the next generation as catalysts for lasting change.

Baker McKenzie Thailand was honored to have three distinguished women business leaders join the panel - Khun Chanapun Juangroongruangkit (Senior Vice President, Thai Summit Group), Dr. Sutapa Amornvivat (CEO, ABACUS Digital), Khun Theerathiphisa Tawichpasoot (Chief Operating Officer, Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited). Moderated by Partner Paralee Techajongjintana, the panelists shared their stories and engaged in thought-provoking conversations around the path to success, opportunities and challenges as women leaders in business.

Peerapan Tungsuwan, Partner and a member of the Firm’s Global Executive Committee, said: "The discussion was extremely inspiring. Having gender balance in an organization is crucial, as well as having operational protocols that help promote gender balance for future sustainable growth. Mentoring future leaders is one of the key enablers for organizational growth over time.”

On behalf of Baker McKenzie Thailand, I would like to thank our esteemed clients for joining our seminar and be part of the celebration of the achievements of women. At Baker McKenzie, we are proud of our values which place people at the heart of our strategy. We are committed to providing equitable and accessible opportunities for all and ensuring everyone is supported in their careers to succeed and fulfill their potentials."
