Leading global law firm, Baker McKenzie has hired Marie Leppard as a partner in its London Antitrust & Competition Practice from boutique competition firm, Euclid Law.

Marie brings a wealth of experience advising clients on EU, UK and multijurisdictional merger control, foreign direct investment, cartel investigations, abuse of dominant position, as well as antitrust compliance.

Marie’s experience acting as a key adviser to leading PE houses, financial sponsors, global financial institutions and corporate clients in large complex matters before the European Commission, UK Competition and Markets Authority and other global antitrust and foreign direct investment agencies will further strengthen the Firm’s offering to its clients and also contribute to the further growth and enhancement of our transactional capabilities.

She also brings extensive expertise of working across a range of sectors, including consumer goods, energy, pharma, banking and fintech as well as advising leniency applicants in cartels, bid-rigging and resale price maintenance investigations carried out by competition and financial regulatory authorities in the EU and the UK.
