We would like to give special recognition to Mr. Thasanai Chaiyakhwaeng, adviser to the Faculty of Law at Khon Kaen University, for his pivotal role in driving policy initiatives and introducing this training program. This program is the type of program we have been supporting and keen to participate as it will enhance the competency and skills of the Thai legal community, especially during these rapidly changing times."
Organized as part of the Faculty of Law's Paralegal Training Program, the course was held on 22 and 23 February and 1 and 2 March 2025. Its objective was to enhance professional skills for the new generation of legal professionals.
The "Professional Development: Law & Management Skills" course emphasized the integration of legal knowledge with practical skills, ethical standards and professional excellence. The course featured a series of interactive sessions led by Baker McKenzie Partners Sumet Orsirivikorn, Bulin Sanooj and Panyavith Preechabhan, along with Senior Associates Soravit Vongbunsin, Pasu Na Songkhla and Krittiphat Srinongko. "We hope that insights and practical skills imparted would be beneficial in some way to their growth and equip them with the tools they need to succeed as legal professionals."
Associate Professor Wanida Sangsarapun, dean of the Faculty of Law, Khon Kaen University, said: We are delighted to collaborate with Baker McKenzie Thailand on this initiative. The program reflects our commitment to providing our students with the best possible education and training.
