Leading global law firm Baker McKenzie has secured the highest number of rankings of any law firm in the Chambers Global 2025 guide. The Firm is recognized in 322 practice areas and 451 lawyer categories.

Additionally, Baker McKenzie achieved 19 Global Multi-Jurisdictional rankings. This includes maintaining six Band 1 rankings for Tax, TMT, Employment, Employee Benefits, Intellectual Property and Real Estate. The Firm also secured a new ranking for Private Equity, and enjoyed a promotion for Restructuring/Insolvency.

The Firm achieved eight Global Market Leader rankings, including upholding three Band 1 rankings in Climate Change, Outsourcing, and Franchising. This year, Chambers has also featured Baker McKenzie in a new Artificial Intelligence Spotlight table, which acknowledges the firms that are leading the way in this space.

In the individual categories, Baker McKenzie received 451 lawyer rankings, marking a 9% increase from last year. The Firm gained 69 new lawyer recognitions, with 25 new entries in the Up-and-Coming/Associates-to-Watch table. Additionally, 51 of the total lawyer rankings were promotions. The number of ranked female lawyers also increased significantly in the 2025 guide, rising from 110 last year to 128 this year.
