Global law firm Baker McKenzie is pleased to announce the hire of Stephan Huis in het Veld as a partner in the Firm’s Banking & Finance practice, based in the Amsterdam office. Stephan brings significant cross-border experience in highly complex banking, leveraged finance, and restructuring matters to the Firm. His arrival further strengthens Baker McKenzie’s global and EMEA Banking & Finance capabilities, following recent additions in Germany, Italy, South Africa and Spain. 

Stephan advises both lenders and borrowers on a wide range of complex cross-border transactions, with a focus on private equity, leveraged finance and restructuring-related deals. He regularly represents major Dutch and international banks, direct lenders and other financial institutions, private equity sponsors (including portfolio companies) and other corporate borrowers in domestic and cross-border matters. Stephan has gained international experience in both London and New York.
