Global law firm Baker McKenzie has achieved 2023-2024 Mansfield Certification Plus status, the sixth consecutive year the Firm has earned this recognition for its ongoing inclusion, diversity and equity efforts. This annual certification is issued by The Diversity Lab, an incubator for innovative ideas and solutions that boost diversity and inclusion in law.

Mansfield Certification is a year-long process designed to ensure that all qualified talent have a fair and equal opportunity to be considered for advancement into leadership roles. Centered around the core principles of transparency, accountability, and knowledge sharing, criteria for firms includes attending meetings and workshops, increasing transparency into advancement processes and leadership roles, engaging in regular check-ins, and broadening the pool of talent considered for leadership opportunities by including at least 30% historically underrepresented lawyers. The “Mansfield Certification Plus” status is a designation reserved for firms that voluntarily report the outcomes of their inclusive processes.
