Leading global law firm Baker McKenzie picked up two awards at this year's ITR Americas Tax Awards which were held on 26 September at New York. This year’s 20th annual awards celebrated the most impressive tax, transfer pricing (TP), tax disputes, and indirect tax teams and practitioners throughout the region. The awards also recognized achievements in tax technology, innovation, policy, compliance and reporting, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Across 15 jurisdictions, the Firm secured the following awards:

  • Americas International Tax Firm of the Year
  • Venezuela Tax Firm of the Year

In addition, we congratulate Trench Rossi Watanabe*, with which we have a strategic cooperation in Brazil, that received the following awards:

  • Latin America Firm of the Year: Litigation and Disputes Law
  • Latin America Tax Attorney of the Year: Simone Musa

The Brazilian firm has also been awarded on the category Latin America Firms of the Year: Tax Litigation & Disputes Law Firm.
