Alexandra Minkovich, a partner in Baker McKenzie's North America Tax Practice, recently sat down with International Tax Review for an interview as part of its “Five minutes with…” series.
A consummate tax professional, Alexandra discusses how she helps clients achieve their tax legislative and regulatory goals. Her day-to-day involves working closely with her clients, Congress, the Treasury and the International Revenue Service (IRS) as an advocate for positive tax policy changes.

Alexandra has more than 20 years’ experience handling a variety of tax, tax controversy, and legislative and regulatory matters. Before joining Baker McKenzie, Alexandra served as Associate Tax Legislative Counsel in the Office of Tax Policy at the US Department of Treasury. She is a regular speaker at seminars and writes on a variety of topics related to legislative and regulatory developments, and administrative law.
