Global law firm Baker McKenzie is pleased to announce that Partner Jennifer Trock and North America Chief Executive Officer Colin Murray have been recognized in ALM's 2024 Women, Influence and Power in Law Awards. Colin has been named Ally of the Year and Jennifer received the top honor in the Talent Management category. The Women, Influence and Power in Law Awards recognize top lawyers who have made a remarkable difference in the legal field through exceptional skill, dedication and commitment to advancing equality.
 
Jennifer is a dedicated advocate for the next generation of women in the legal industry. As a member of Baker McKenzie’s North America Regional Management Committee, Jennifer focuses on the Firm’s talent strategy, where she advances programs to recruit, develop and support diverse attorneys throughout their careers. Jennifer is the former Chair of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Air & Space Law.  While Chair, Jennifer focused on promoting initiatives to promote substantive participation by women and diverse attorneys in governance, committees, and programs of the Forum.  
 
ALM recognized Colin’s commitment to diversity and equity efforts, including his outspoken and unwavering support for the promotion of women and other diverse members in the legal industry. Colin was instrumental in establishing several of the Firm's innovative ID&E programs, including the Leaders Investing for Tomorrow Sponsorship Program for Women, the RISE Mentorship Program and the Lawyers of Color Conference. Colin also oversaw the launch of Baker McKenzie's Business Development, Marketing and Communications Summer Internship Program, which provides learning experiences for students from diverse backgrounds.
