Baker McKenzie's Luxembourg office is part of a global law firm that offers a wide range of expertise and legal solutions customized to our international clients' needs. We advise clients on market-leading transactions in key industries, including banking, insurance, asset management, private equity and real estate.

Our Business Development & Communication Department is looking for a trainee for a period of six to 12 months from June 2025 on. An internship agreement is required. 

Responsibilities:

  • Client Proposals: Assist lawyers in preparing tailor-made client service proposals and presentations.
  • Business Development toolkit: Manage and maintain a comprehensive business development toolkit, including capabilities statements, CVs, etc...
  • Reporting: Produce accurate and high-quality reports on business development performance, benchmarks, and visibility.
  • Legal Directories: Assist in preparing submissions for legal directories such as Chambers, Legal 500, and IFLR.
  • Content Creation: Create engaging content for our external and internal communication channels, including social media, website, press releases, and newsletters.
  • Communication Strategy: Contribute to the review and implementation of our communication strategy to increase brand awareness.
  • Event Planning: Participate in the concept, planning, and setup of our client events
     

Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Enrolled in a master's degree in management, business administration, marketing, communication, or political sciences.
  • Experience: Strong experience in communication or marketing/consulting, ideally in a legal or consulting environment.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and French (level C2) with excellent written skills.
  • Skills: Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Photo or video skills are an asset.
