Description

Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow is looking for an Immigration Assistant to assist the lawyers on a range of immigration legal matters. This is an entry-level role, the main types of work that the Immigration Assistant would carry out are:

  1. application of Singapore work passes and associated long term passes for family members of work pass holders;
  2. submissions to the relevant authorities, such as online responses to the Ministry of Manpower and paper submissions to embassies in Singapore;
  3. advising on work pass related matters; and
  4. matter opening and billing.

The ideal candidate would be proficient in written and verbal communication in English because English is the Ministry of Manpower's working language, and should be comfortable with working with PDF documents and image scans (e.g. scans of passports, graduation certificates). Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Edge / Google Chrome is required. No further work experience is required, we are happy to train.

For part-time employment, we require the Immigration Assistant to work Monday to Friday, providing seamless client service, with flexibility for reduced hours each day.
