Recently, we advised Sika A.G. on acquiring MBCC Group from an affiliate Lone Star Funds and selling its concrete admixtures business to Cinven. This involved a carve-in process and antitrust assessment in Peru, following merger clearance in the EU and UK. We also advised lenders (SMBC, BBVA, Bank of China, Intesa, Natixis) on a USD 345 million equity bridge loan to Consorcio Eléctrico Yapay S.A. (ISA group) for the “TOCE-CEPI” transmission projects.
