Luis Adrián Jiménez Robles
Biography
Luis Adrián is the head of the Mexican Tax Practice Group, a member of the North America Management and of the Latin American Tax Steering Committee. Since joining Baker McKenzie in 2004, Luis Adrián has advised clients from a range of different industries, focusing on Mexican inbound planning for North American and European headquartered multinationals and multijurisdictional group reorganizations and restructurings. He is both a CPA and a lawyer. Luis has more than 30 years of experience dealing with all type of domestic and cross border Mexican tax matters and projects.
Practice Focus
Luis Adrián focuses his practice on general Mexican tax consulting for all types of companies and transactions. He is experienced in tax consultancy in international transactions and advice to Mexican companies that are subsidiaries of transnational groups. He also has experience in all kinds of tax matters related to mergers, acquisitions, as well as in reorganizations and restructurings.
Given his accounting, tax and legal background, Luis Adrián leads several tax compliance projects and actively participates in litigation projects.
